According to the Lunar chart of our area, (Brooksville and Surrounding areas) these would be the best times to go fishing, however we fish all the the time and usually catch fish. This chart is for those who really believe in the Lunar Cycles and could use it to plan your fishing Adventure with Flatwater Adventure tours, or you can put in your own area code to see the best times to fish your area.

Directions on how to build a Minnow Trap:

Get two three-liter plastic soda bottles and label one "A" and the other one "B". Leave the top on
bottle "A" and cut off the bottom portion.

Remove the top from bottle "B" and cut about one-third of the top portion off. Discard
the bottom portion of the bottle.

Place bottle "B" into bottle "A" with the tops of the bottles pointing in the same direction
Staple or melt the 2 sections as shown in the drawing (below)

Punch or drill small holes in bottle "A" so the minnows that get trapped will stay alive,
as well as helping in sinking of the trap.

Bait the trap with bread crumbs or some other food that will attract the minnows and place it
in the water.

The theory is the minnows will swim through bottle "B" and be trapped in the bottle "A" section. Un-screw cap from bottle "A" and dump minnows into you holding bin. This really works I use it myself.
